SCHEDULES
Each student should have received their schedule for the rest of the year. This should have included requested schedule changes. If students think their schedule is not as they expected or have a question, please contact the counselor.
SENIORS
SEMO will be having Paying for College Workshops on January 14 at the Sikeston SEMO Regional Campus, January 15 at the Kennnett SEMO Regional Campus, and January 16 at the Cape Girardeau SEMO Campus. This event is designed to answer questions about financing a college degree and help students feel confident about their next steps, without the need to travel far from home. They are expected to last from 4:45pm-7:00pm. Register at http://visit.semoadmissions.org
SEMO ELECTRIC CYCLE AND YOUTH TOUR APPLICATION
The Missouri Electric Cooperatives’ Youth Conference and Leadership Experience (CYCLE) tour and the National Rural Electric Association’s Youth Tour are leadership building programs that bring high school students from around the state and nation together. The CYCLE Tour is for high-school sophomores and is a four-day program in Jefferson City. High-School Juniors are eligible for the Youth Tour, a leadership building trip to Washington D.C. Winners of the trip will meet with other students from Missouri and travel to the nation’s capital for a one-week trip where participants hear national speakers and see many of the memorials and tour museums and historic sites like Mount Vernon. Both trips are free for participants. To be eligible: 1. the student's parent or legal guardian must be a member-owner of SEMO Electric Cooperative, 2. the student will need to create a one to three minute video featuring our school., 3. the video will be judged on the content and uploaded to their social media pages as well as shared on their website, gosemo.com, 4. the students will need to upload their video to their YouTube or Vimeo page and email them the link along with the Tour application. A+
A+ students (especially seniors), please bring your updated A+ log sheets to Mrs. Elfrink so she can make a copy and update your parents on your status. As a reminder, A+ students need to complete 50 hours of documented tutoring or mentoring to be eligible for the A+ scholarship.
SEMO DUAL CREDIT/DUAL ENROLLMENT STUDENTS
Registration for spring classes is open. Students go to semo.dualenroll.com to register for your spring classes. The end of the semester is near. First spring payment is due Feb. 3. Bills will be mailed in January. SEMO spring classes begin on Jan. 13.

Class Meeting for High School to discuss Banners will be Monday, January 13th in Advisory
Banners will need to be completed by Friday, January 24th @ 8:00am and Hung in the Gymnasium! Winner will receive a Pizza Party!
Friday, January 24th, during 6th and 7th hours there will be a Movie and Popcorn Event in the Gymnasium showing Tangled!
