Scholarship Deadline is March 15.   A student must be applied to the college before they can submit the online application.  Once logged in a student will need to select the student tab then myScholarship Application.

MISSOURI BOYS & GIRLS STATE

The programs will be held June 21-28 at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO.  The 2025 application is open for Boys State, but not Girls State. Their purpose is to promote pride in America and to create a mythical state that the citizens will govern at the city, county and state level. They will have speakers who serve as leaders in our Missouri government as well as hold important offices in our communities. Students interested in attending will need a sponsor who will cover the $500 fee.  If you are a junior who is interested in attending visit https://www.moboysstate.org/ for information about Missouri Boys State and https://www.missourigirlsstate.org/ for Missouri Girls State.

DECEMBER 14 ACT TEST DATE

The late registration deadline for the December 14 ACT is November 22 with a late fee unless you are eligible for a fee waiver.  Juniors and Seniors who are eligible for free/reduced lunches are also eligible for up to four ACT fee waivers.  These waivers will cover the registration fee (making it FREE) for up to four ACT tests.  The fee waivers also make the student eligible for on-demand tutorials, video lessons, access to 2,000+ACT test questions and answers, five full-length ACT practice tests, and more.  If you think you are eligible and would like to take the ACT, please see the counselor for more information.

SEMO INFORMATION FOR SENIORS

SEMO's housing registration is now open.  Students have until March 1 to submit their housing contract, but rooms are filled on a first-come, first serve basis so do not delay.  The earlier they register, the better their chances of securing the room they want.

November 16 is the last day to attend a Show Me Day and explore what SEMO has to offer in 2024. Show Me Day attendees can reserve one free ticket for the football game that day with extras at $10.50 each-first come, first served.  If interested, reserve online at https://visit.semoadmissions.org/event/semo.events.

Students who apply and become a Redhawk by December 1, will automatically be entered for a chance to win no tuition costs for an entire year. If you are interested in attending SEMO, apply today.

TRANSCRIPTS FOR DECEMBER 1 DEADLINE (SENIORS)

Many colleges/universities, have a December 1 deadline for students to be admitted to their college/university and to have applied for merit-based (college-given) scholarships.  Most colleges require an official high school transcript to complete the application process. December 1 falls on a Sunday this year and we are out of school the four days prior.  Please have your transcript request submitted to the office by November 20 to increase the likelihood of the college receiving your transcript (especially if it must be mailed) by the December 1 deadline.
